Our Premium Lightly Salted Butter is blended to our specifications to better the best European butters. The secret to wonderful butter lies in our pure fresh cream, the culture, and the curing process. Our Premium Lightly Salted has a velvety texture like no other. It is mouth-watering simply spread on toast or used in cooking and baking for a full-bodied buttery experience. So good in fact, that it has picked up Gold in the butter category of the Champions of Cheese Awards 2019. The Premium butter taste profile was created with the guidance of Ross McCallum, the founder of Kapiti Cheese. Ross subsequently introduced us to Murray Seamark and Canary Foods – an independent, highly skilled operator recognised as a 2012 Exporter of the Year for their success in 20 overseas markets. Canary has the expertise to blend a selection of the best Export butters to a ‘recipe’ that betters anything else on the supermarket shelf.
